Cooper Slough began swimming for the Dutchman Downs Dolphins at age 9. He also swam for RSA and was a captain during his junior and senior years for Middle Creek High School’s swim team. Cooper is graduating this year and has plans to attend the University of South Carolina to obtain a degree in Sports Management with a minor in Business. He also plans to enlist in the Army ROTC program while at South Carolina. In his free time, Cooper likes to hang out with friends, work out, watch sports (as a Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Hornets fan), and be around swimming. He’s super excited to be the head coach of the Dolphins this summer and is looking forward to seeing everybody both swim hard and have fun!

Danielle Koehler has been swimming for Dutchman Downs since she was 8 years old. She is a rising junior at Middle Creek, and is proud to say she swam on the high school swim team for 2 years now. In her free time, Danielle loves hanging out with friends, spending time outside, and when she’s not swimming, you’ll usually find her on a volleyball court! Her favorite part of summer swim team is getting to bond with and watch the kids grow into fantastic swimmers, and of course, have a blast cheering on her fellow Dolphins! Danielle has volunteer coached for 3 years now, and she’s super excited to start her first season as an assistant coach (covid-style)! Go Dolphins!!
